Supporting Our School
The Hyde-Addison PTA works year-round to raise critical funds that support our students, staff and school community. While DCPS provides a strong foundation, it does not fully fund the resources our school needs to meet the high standards of excellence we set for our children. In fact, for the 2024-2025 school year, Hyde-Addison’s unfunded DCPS budget gap was $98,700—a gap the PTA aims to bridge through donations, community events and fundraising efforts each school year.
Furthermore, to mirror the inclusivity we value so much from the Hyde-Addison community, the PTA always makes sure our student-attended events are free or have an option to contribute within your means so that every student can participate—no matter what! We rely solely on monetary donations, event sponsorships and volunteers to run every event.
The Hyde-Addison PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 52‐1844971), so your monetary donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
