About Us

Established in 1993, the Hyde-Addison Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is here to support, celebrate and strengthen our incredible school community. We’re committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student and family feels seen, valued and connected. Whether you’re a new or returning family, you’re automatically a member— no sign-up, no dues, just community!

At its core, our PTA exists to:

• Support the educational mission and goals of the Hyde-Addison Elementary School and its teachers for the benefit of the students

• Promote the well-being and success of all Hyde-Addison students in the home, school and community

• Strengthen and sustain the Hyde-Addison school community so that the school teachers, staff and families can support the physical, mental, social and emotional development of the students

• Raise funds to support the school’s academic program, extra-curricular activities and other opportunities for growth to enrich each student’s school experience

We believe a strong PTA helps create a stronger school. It provides a space where families feel empowered to get involved and where every student benefits from the collective efforts of a caring community.

Throughout the year, we host events, organize volunteer opportunities, and keep families informed and involved. We invite you to connect with us, share your ideas, and find ways—big or small—to be part of this vibrant community.
